Having a child who is obsessed with the Wiggles? What three year old is not? From the initial invite to the smallest detail, here is everything you need (and need to know) to throw your child the perfect Wiggles party right at home.
Invitations
Purchase Wiggles invitations online or at a party store. Make the most festive envelopes with stickers or drawing Wiggles brightly colored swirls and scribbles everywhere.
The mailbox
Use your mailbox as a reference point to help customers easily identify your home. Attach helium balloons in the colors of brands Wiggles: blue, purple, yellow and red. You can also create a large cardboard sign that says: "It's Wiggle Time!"
Decorations
If you are on the inside and outside surfaces, are the Wiggles color scheme by using more helium balloons, streamers, table covers, a flag birthday Wiggles, Wiggles birthday and any other supplies you can find. Buy a Wiggles CD to play during the entire duration of the piece.
Games & Activities
Have games and activities are centered around other characters Wiggles: Dorothy the Dinosaur, wagging the dog, Henry the Octopus and Captain Feathersword the friendly Pirate. For example, the search for buried treasure Captain Feathersword's children. Simply fill in small children's pool with sand and small plastic toys and trinkets (aka "buried treasure") that kids can find. Bean bag game or launch wagging the dog. You can set up a station for each character and the game or activity; separate the children into small groups and make it turn through each. Ask adults running every station dressed in one color and leave Wiggles Wiggles party hats for children to use.
Food
If the party is held outside, have a barbecue and serve favorites such as hot dogs and hamburgers served with fries, baked beans, or "bulging" gelatin. If indoors, consider serving another kid favorite: pizza! For dessert, serve cake or cupcakes with frosting Wiggles blue, purple, yellow and red.
Party Favors
Look at your local party store to find Wiggles themed party favors. Wiggles stickers to make noise, fill a goody bag with fun Wiggles toys, trinkets and candy for each guest to take home with them. Just make sure you spread the goodies that are age appropriate for your guests.
